The Charred Tree

Who writes this stuff?

Dean Bryant Johnson produces the work published on The Charred Tree.

Bryant has always had a strong and vivid imagination. When he was very young his imagination convinced him that an elephant was stomping up and down the railroad tracks on the other side of the fence at the back of the lawn. The elephant was very angry about the trains that kept rolling across its toes and wanted someone to punish for it. Unfortunately, the elephant heard the little boy in the back yard and charged the fence. Bryant’s mother opened the back door just in time to save him from the rampaging menace.

Since that time, Bryant has told and written many other stories and tales.

Bryant is also a photography enthusiast. You can see some of his work at Vita Photographica, his photography blog. All imagery found on The Charred Tree is produced by Dean Bryant Johnson unless indicated otherwise.
